We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion without obligation to provide a reason.
All estimates provided by Salinas Deck & Fence are free and non-binding until both parties sign a written project agreement. Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection. Changes in project scope, material prices, or site conditions discovered during work may result in adjustments to the quoted price.
We will notify you of any changes in scope or cost before proceeding with additional work. Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written, signed agreements constitute a contractual commitment.
Prices are subject to change based on material costs and market conditions at the time of project execution.
Project scheduling is confirmed in writing after a signed agreement and any required deposit are received. Start dates are subject to weather conditions, permit timelines, and material availability.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposit refund policy, are specified in your individual project agreement.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any rescheduling promptly.
Payment schedules are outlined in your signed project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your project agreement. Late payments may be subject to interest or collection costs as permitted by applicable law.
Work will not begin or resume if required deposits or milestone payments are outstanding.
Salinas Deck & Fence will obtain required building permits for projects where permits are mandated by local ordinance, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are typically passed through to the customer at cost and are listed separately in the project agreement.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible, that underground utilities are marked before digging begins, and that any HOA approvals required for the project are obtained prior to the start of work.
Salinas Deck & Fence stands behind the quality of its workmanship. Specific warranty terms are included in your project agreement. Material warranties are governed by the manufacturer and are separate from any workmanship guarantee we provide.
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, alterations by others, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear. Any warranty claim must be submitted in writing within the warranty period specified in your project agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed. Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective workmanship.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Salinas Deck & Fence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of this website, the performance of services, or any project agreement.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
